Updated review PSA:  
DO NOT order through Doordash or UberEats. The restaurant staff are unfamiliar with managing order flow through apps.  I still had to wait an additional 25 minutes before it was actually ready.    At other times, I have noticed that the staff appear frazzled by busy nights, which makes me wonder why they even use Uber or Doordash if they can’t handle the order load.  

As for the food, my previous review still holds true.  The food is consistently good.  Try the fresh rolls (they are more flavorful than other restaurants I’ve been to) and green curry fried rice.

This restaurant has been in our neighborhood for a long time but I never tried it. Several years back, I heard some friends say it was pretty decent so I finally decided to try it for takeout food since we were craving Thai food. The Universe must have been steering me away for a reason.

While the lady who took the order over the phone seemed friendly and according to my hubby the people were friendly when he picked up our order, that good stuff ends there. The shrimp roll we ordered tasted funny; the yellow curry chicken had RAW potatoes and carrots that seemed to have been thrown in last minute and the sauce was thin and not something like any effort was made to put it together. The pad see ew was so-so, the bbq chicken was dry and tasted like it’s been sitting and not something that was recently grilled (it was cold). Most of the sauce provided was the sweet chili sauce that you can buy in a bottle — they don’t seem to make any sauces of their own. The only good thing was probably the fried shrimp wrapped in wonton skins but for $2 apiece, not worth it. I should have listened to my gut instincts and stayed away for good. I really wanted to support a local business but the quality of the food provided is not supportable by me.

Really tasty food and great service.  We ordered the chicken penang curry and the chicken fried rice.  Both delicious and flavorful and good portion sizes.  We will definitely be going back

Fried rice is absolutely amazing! Yellow curry is so delicious!! This is easily the best restaurant in Castro valley. Hidden gem

My sister and I don’t get to spend time together, a couple weeks ago we visited this establishment and order a couple of Curry plates. WOW – we were very surprised that these dishes were very delicious. It was our first time in this place the servers were very nice and were able to make drink recommendations. We ended up getting a couple of Thai beers and the pairing was outstanding.
