Solid casual vibes. Good for watching a game or just grabbing a quick bite to eat. Great environment and service. The wings were pretty good, but the boneless ones were more breaded than I would have liked.
I had a Greater Saint Louis Dental Society meeting here. Awesome wings, great cozy event space, and super good drinks. Such a cute Irish pub with plenty of space for large groups!
Rented the pub room for a karaoke party and it was a top notch experience! Highly recommend! Melissa the events coordinator was super responsive and helpful. She answered emails and questions promptly. The room rental paperwork was easy and the food/drink options were well priced. There was no time limit for the room rental, which other venues had. Here were we’re able to rent from 7pm-close which was great because no one wants to break up a good party! We were able to check out the space the week before the party to make sure our karaoke set up would work. We arrived 1 hour before party and there were 2 staff there waiting to help us set everything up. The food was ready and our two bartenders Kelsey and Samson were amazing. The party was a hit and everyone ate and drank and sang their hearts out. I could not be happier. We will DEF be back next year! Thank you Melissa and crew!
Used to be a great place. Now you can find horrible service, rude staff and overpriced mediocre food.
We were told by the host to sit anywhere, so we sat down at a table and waited…and waited…and no one ever came to our table. I looked around and none of the other tables had any food. We left having never been acknowledged.
Used to be a big fan of Llywelyn’s but not any more! Hostess was very unfriendly and definitely not someone you want greeting your customers, table was extremely sticky, and the food was mediocre. On top of everything else prices are way too high for basic bar food and drinks. What a shame, we used to love this place!
Where do I start…the hostess was not friendly, almost rude, and the table was sticky. Not sure if it was due to being dirty or just old unsealed wood. Either way, it felt nasty!
I ordered the fish and fries, with the shoestring fries. I asked for the fries to be extra crispy, they were not crispy nor were they hot, they were barely room temperature. My fish was barely warm too.
We’ve been to this location a few times but will not be back!!
No longer Welsh or Irish pub. All of those traditional foods gone. Just American bar food
To be honest, the pub burger has no right to say it’s “award winning” on the menu. If you’re going by those standards, the burger was a complete disappointment. If you’re going by normal restaurant burger standards, it was a decent bite, except for the dry muffin. The side of Mac n’ Cheese had a pretty good white cheese sauce on it, but I enjoyed the few fries that my companion shared with me a little better. I will have to give a shout out that they made us a very good Bloody Mary, probably the best I’d had! The last note is the appetizer, we had fried pickles which were delicious! However 12 dollars is a bit steep even for how good they were.
Overall it was a solid experience, would probably come again but not get the burger.
Great neighborhood pub and restaurant. The staff is terrific. The food is consistent and the atmosphere is fun. Nothing fancy but solid
