Fantastic food and great service! I ordered a large plate of fried chicken (4 pieces) and waffles. I LOVED the chicken and the waffles. The hot sauce on the tables was also spicy, but also quite tasty instead of just blind heat. I chatted with one of the owners, and he told me this place is family owned, which you can easily see in the quality of food and service. I took a ferry from San Francisco to try this place out, and I will definitely be doing that again! This place is amazing. Try it out and you will love it.
Great food! Loved the yams and Mac and cheese sides. Waffle served with hot syrup and freshly made fried chicken
I am so disappointed in the way that this restaurant has went down hill. I went here two nights ago and when i walked in the first thing i noticed was the dirty mop water smell. The chicken tasted like burnt cooking oil butthe grits were good. I don’t believe that the food is freshly prepared (hint) you never smell any food cooking or chicken frying.
They aren’t what they used to be.
Everything was perfect as always
Absolutely lovely and sweet waitress who looked after us but I ordered the chicken strips and they were so mid. Chicken strips had hardly any batter on and were extremely salty. Also automatically add 15% gratuity which is cheeky.
