Stumbled upon this taqueria, ordered the super taco carnitas
Been here several times. The food has always been good. So far I have tried wet burrito, super burrito, super nachos, fajitas, meats include el pastor, carne asada. Portion size is pretty good, price is same as most places. Overall solid food and usually don’t have to wait long for orders. I’ll definitely try other stuff on the menu.
Parking can be challenging since it shares parking with La Hacienda Market. There is street parking though. Ordered a super burrito al pastor and it was amazing. Perfect flavor profile and texture. Uses real avocado too.
Unassuming Mexican restaurant by a grocery store / in a strip mall. A hole in the wall place. They have a solid menu selection including a lot of shrimp and seafood items.
Everything is reasonably priced especially for the portion sizes which were huge. The food was pretty greasy which made some of it hard to eat. However everything was very tasty and well spiced. The shrimp they used in their dishes were all huge and very meaty. I would definitely recommend the shrimp quesadilla. It was more like a huge cheese burrito and was a tasty, greasy guilty pleasure but definitely not an everyday item.
Service was a bit slow but everyone working here was extremely nice. There’s a few seats outside although most of the tables are inside. It’s a small restaurant so mostly eat and go. Cash only. Staff speaks a bit of English but substitutions or alternations were a bit difficult to communicate.
Not a good business practice to have a sign on a door that you are open till 8.30pm and close the doors at 7pm!!!
First time trying this taqueria and it’s so good! I am pleasantly surprised and satisfied! The burrito is juicy and a nice size!
Great local taqueria. We always go for the super carne asada burrito and add shrimp to make it a surf and turf. Solid burritos and plates here.
It’s 7:00 and they locked the doors already. Door says 8:30 closing. Should have know when they didn’t answer the phone.
Got the enchiladas with chicken, rice and beans with an horchata. Compared to the Mexican food I’ve eaten in the past, very subpar. I’m Mexican and I know good Mexican food, this is not it. Even the rice and beans were not good. I gave it an extra star as they packed the enchiladas with avocado which was generous, but it couldn’t make up for the bland food.
Found this little gem while washing the vehicle I use for work. Wanted some Mexican food and low and behold there was a Mexican market and a taqueria right next door! Started taking with a local whos waiting for his food and suggested the shrimp burrito. So, I ordered it to go, to eat back at the hotel. I did add lettuce and tomato. The burrito was large, hot and stuffed with nice size shrimp, lettuce, tomatoes, rice, beans and seasonings. It was large enough to save half for a later meal. Enjoyed the shrimp tostada supreme the very next day!!
