Good portions of food and menu can be overwhelming! Service is great but expect a long wait on most days to get a table. Not the most economical pricing but the quality and wait staff are great… but at times overworked
I had taken a friend for her birthday and it was her first visit and she was amazed. We truly enjoyed our lunch as the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We had an amazing staff member named Elsa who cared for our table and she made our experience unforgettable she was so so polite and her smile made our luncheon to be so special! We definitely will be back!
I can’t get over this place. The food here does all the talking. Best caramel apple pancakes ever.
I give this place 5 stars.
Good service, better food
Great location outside, well spaced inside
Close to the station so it’s a fun little walk (tourist friendly)

I’m not Canadian. I’m a Southern California native living in LA and this place destroys me because I’m over here looking for a damn place to eat and nothing compares to Angelina’s.
If you’re a tourist beware – this place might hit you so good breakfasts and brunches might never be the same post vacay.
Wild Salmon Benedict was awesome love their pancakes try them any time with friends and family since the service is always good
We had a really poor experience during brunch. The only positive was our server was very nice and polite. But everything else will make us never go back. First our food 58 minutes after we ordered. Ok fine the kitchen may be backed up but nobody came to tell us and when we asked the wait staff looked surprised and brought the items out fast, Half the items we ordered were wrong, the eggs and side of potatoes was cold. The quality of the food is about the level of iHop but the prices are much higher. So save your money and look to a different brunch spots. There are lots of great local ones around or head to any chain restaurants and you’ll have a far better experience.
What a beautiful day for brunch on the patio at Angelina’s Dutch Corner! A friend was visiting and she chose this spot.. was actually my first time too!
We ordered The Big Bennie, Big Breakfast, Mixed Berries
I have been to the old location numerous times but this was the first time checking out its new location. The new location is just a flight of stairs down from the old location in the New West Quay.
We were greeted (not the most friendly greeting) and seated promptly by the window. Nice little window view. The restaurant was busy both on the outside patio and inside but there were no lineups. Thank goodness, I remember lining up forever at the small old location. Anyways, there really not much to say that haven’t been said, just simply one of the best breakfast brunch place in New West and its surrounding area.
Here were the food we ordered;
1. London fogg. Pretty basic
2. Peach Bellini. A bit too watery, would be better if more of a slushy form.
3. Daily soup; Potato bacon chowder. A bit too watery so missing that nice chowder texture and definitely needed some work on this soup.
4. Big breakfast. Pretty much the name said it all, it comes with eggs, ham, bacons, sausage cut, toast, roasted baby potatoes and fresh fruits. Very nice! Everything was tasty especially the baby potatos.
5. Smoked salmon and spinach with cheese pannekoeken. Everything was nice but wish the spinach looked more pleasing to eat.
6. Side of eggs sunny side up. As it is.
7. Side of smoked salmon. Very generous portions!!
This new location was definitely an improvement from the old location in terms of comfort dining. Besides the greeting staffs, our waitress was very friendly and attentive but unfortunately none of the staffs said bye to us when we walked out, I did left a 25% tip not like I didn’t tip lol. As for the food, very generous portions and tasty besides the soup. Overall, this is a great little place to grab breakfast or brunch if you are in the new west area and going to enjoy a little stroll along the quay after.
Each dish on their breakfast menu is served with a side of baby potatoes, toast and a bowl of fresh fruits that are extremely ripe The French toast was light and fluffy, and I really enjoyed how the bacon wasn’t your usual crispy oily protein, but meaty and full of flavor The benny was absolutely delicious! The eggs were poached perfectly and they certainly do not skimp out on the toppings and veggies My favorite dish was hands down the Fully Loaded Embodying various textures and flavors from everything in the omelette , you can’t go wrong with this omelette You can even choose the type of cheese that goes into your omelette and they have a ton of options I chose the Dutch cheese which was light in flavor, but I found it to be the perfect pairing to the various ingredients inside the omelette Overall, I really liked the options at Angelina’s and how it’s a nice, hearty spot for brunch by the New West Quay
Delicious brunch place right by the quay in new west! We had to wait roughly 1hr for a table for 4 at ~11 am but the food was worth the wait and more! Shared the hash pannekoek and a mixed berry French toast with my buddy and we had to take several breaks to finish the last bites. “But Jocelyn you could have just left it or taken it to go” and to that I say yes, but it was so freaking delicious you just know it wouldn’t maintain the same level of freshness in a container, and the food was way to delicious to throw away. While I am generally not a big fan of hollandaise, their recipe was so light and flavourful, it paired perfectly with the hash. Additionally, since the hash was in a separate tray, the pannekoek could be enjoyed with the savoury food and hollandaise or with the syrup provided along with the meal. In both cases, the pannekoek had a very light but prominent vanilla flavour that paired perfectly with each bite of the hash or fruit. It’s also worth mentioning, they provide an assortment of tabasco sauces for the table, from original to buffalo to even their scorpion hot sauce (for all my spicy food fanatics)!
Paid ~25-30 pp for the plate and a coffee. Would definitely go again, but make sure to go early to grab a spot or you might be stuck with a long wait time too! One benefit of going early on a Sunday is there is free street parking until 12pm, but otherwise there is a paid park lot at the quay and plenty of street parking nearby.
Took one star off because, and maybe we’re just unaware of the option, there was no online wait list we could join so we had to walk in and wait. Had there been that option, we definitely would have joined sooner to minimize the wait time but that’s nothing that would deter me from coming back. The plus side is on a nice summer day, you can just step out onto the broad walk and enjoy a bit of sun or have a walk inside the market if it’s cloudy.
Great food! Quick service! Great atmosphere! Walking distance to other shops in the area.
